Matt Smith has officially made it to the Guinness World Records!

He is apparently officially recognized in the book as the youngest actor to play the Doctor. Smith was just 26 when he began the role, beating fifth Doctor Peter Davison, who was 29.

Doctor Who also holds the record for longest-running science-fiction TV series in the world, now with a whopping 769 episodes to date, made up of 212 storylines and a TV movie.
